The Donum Estate, a leader in single-vineyard, single-appellation Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; home to a monumental sculpture collection at its Estate in the acclaimed wine region of Sonoma County in Northern California, is pleased to announce its debut distribution in Hong Kong

A selection of wines from the coveted portfolio will now be available for purchase from Donum's distribution partner Vinopolis Hong Kong Ltd. "As proud residents of Hong Kong, we are delighted to have found a partner to introduce our wines to the City," said Mei and Allan Warburg, Owners of Donum.

"The Donum art collection has gathered world-wide attention in the art community and through this recognition we have met many lovers of art who also have a passion for fine wines." Donum's terroir-driven wines reflect the energy and complexity of some of the most celebrated regions in Northern California including its Estate vines in Carneros, Anderson Valley, and the Russian River Valley.

A passionate team alongside winemaker Dan Fishman crafts only single-vineyard, single-appellation wines from small lots reflecting each unique, premier vineyard block.

The Donum Estate comprises 200 picturesque acres north of San Pablo Bay in the Carneros wine region, using biodynamic and organic farming practices that create growing environments in which its vines can thrive and produce the highest-quality fruit possible. "We are immensely thrilled to introduce Donum to Hong Kong.

The wine community here is thriving, and they are seeking unique, premier quality wines such as Donum. The demand is very high and our customers are really enthusiastic. But we only have a limited stock available in this initial introduction," said K. L. Lee, Executive Director of Vinopolis HK Limited.

"Historically, we have largely sold directly to consumers through our growing membership base," said Angelica de Vere Mabray, Donum Chief Executive Officer. "We are excited to offer a selection of Donum wines to Hong Kong, especially as people may not be able to travel to visit us at the Estate during this time. With our terroir-driven ideology, our wines can transport people to our vineyards with each sip," added Dan Fishman, Donum Winemaker.

Donum has been gaining visibility in Hong Kong of late through the Donum Collection and having hosted receptions to celebrate its artists alongside the annual "Art Week" in March.

The Estate features over 40 major artworks from artists across the globe, including Ai Weiwei, Yayoi Kusama, Louise Bourgeois, Keith Haring, Zhan Wang, Elmgreen & Dragset, Yue Minjun, Jaume Plensa, Subodh Gupta, Danh Vo, Doug Aitken and Tracey Emin, among others. "Perhaps it's idealistic to say that art and wine are both examples of humankind striving to connect on a deeper level with the world around us. But as someone who has devoted such an extensive amount of time and love to both subjects I believe the bond is genuine," stated Sarah Heller, MW.

Alongside the distribution, Donum will be added to the wine list of the Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant and art space Duddell's. "Our clients have a deep and active appreciation for the arts. People come together over food and wine, in an environment that connects art and people. With Donum's monumental art collection and artist-designed labels, it's a great addition to our wine list," said Duddell's Co-Founder Alan Lo.
