3812 Gallert celebrates New Year with group exhibition Blessings

3812 Gallery is pleased to present the group exhibition, 'Blessings', at its Hong Kong space in Wyndham Street, Central. Marking the first exhibition of 2022, 'Blessings' will place works by leading contemporary artists, sending wishes and positive energy to the public. The exhibition will be on view from January 19 – February 14, 2022. A new year begins as everything starts anew.

In Chinese culture, festivals and seasons bring family members together. The renewal of life evolves with the seeding of spring, planting of summer, harvest of autumn, and storing through the winter months. This tradition is often passed down from one generation to the next and continues to this day.

As 2022 dawns, 3812 Gallery will collaborate with Citi ULTIMA, bringing blessings that symbolise a fresh start to this new year. 'As nature's seasons bring rejuvenation and hope, we introduce Blessings, an artistic theme shrouded with spiritual meaning for the 12 featured artworks, that resonate with different seasons of the year. Sending our good wishes to you, we share positivity, faith, and confidence in a post-pandemic world,' says Calvin Hui, co-founder of 3812 Gallery and curator of this exhibition. Blessings is a curated exhibition of Chinese contemporary works, accompanied by a series of limited-edition art merchandise.

As 3812 Gallery continues to celebrate its 10th anniversary, we also continue to foster cultural dialogues in art and pursue our mission to deepen the understanding of "Eastern origin and contemporary expression," globally promoting eastern aesthetics and the development of Chinese contemporary art. An exciting exhibition on St Ives and Buddhism will follow in February. Please stay tuned.

Date: 19 January – 14 February, 2022 Opening hour: Monday to Friday, 11am -7pm
Address: 26/F, Wyndham Place, 40-44 Wyndham Street, Central, Hong Kong
