JOHNNIE WALKER INTRODUCES ITS LUXURY LUNAR NEW YEAR COLLECTIONS

JOHNNIE WALKER INTRODUCES ITS LUXURY LUNAR NEW YEAR COLLECTIONS

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Johnnie Walker releases three new limited editions. Partnering with Chinese artist, Shan Jiang, Johnnie Walker releases limited-edition designs for Johnnie Walker Blue Label, John Walker & Sons XR 21 and John Walker & Sons King George V to celebrate the year of the Tiger.

Each bottle houses the whisky distillery’s rarest liquids and has been individually and exquisitely designed making each one a collectable item and desirable gift. Creating the illustrations for these limited editions is London-based, Chinese native illustrator, Shan Jiang.

Using his influences of his home city of Shanghai; its skyscrapers and bungalows, contemporary concepts and traditional superstitions, Shan Jiang has created a unique design series, with each whisky telling its own story to celebrate the festivity. With each limited edition comes its own unique story however one sentiment rings true for all; that after a year of hard work, pressure and challenges, the lunar new year marks a time to enjoy precious moments with loved ones and have a drink with the people we care about.

A gift is not only physical but also a tool to penetrate the barriers of distance and time between people and thus, Johnnie Walker encourages you to keep walking.

The limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label ($1,855), John Walker & Sons King George V ($6,380) and John Walker & Sons XR 21($998) are available now at all major alcohol retailers in Hong Kong.
